Earwig (2023), a new drama-fantasy-horror movie set to be released on the 18th of January, 2023, is the latest production of Lucile Hadzihalilovic. The movie, which will run for 1 hour and 54 minutes, is to be co-written by Brian Catling and Geoff Cox, both of whom have worked with Hadzihalilovic in the past. Earwig will be co-produced by the United Kingdom, France and Belgium, and will be filmed in English. 

Hadzihalilovic is best known for her work on the French horror movie, Innocence (2004). The movie, which was released at the Cannes Film Festival, was met by critical acclaim and was a success at the box office. Hadzihalilovic has since then gone on to direct smaller, more independent films, such as the French drama-fantasy-horror movie Evolution (2015). Earwig will be her first major production since then.

The plot of Earwig is still being kept under wraps, but it is known that it will have a dark and mysterious tone. The movie is also said to explore themes of mortality and the supernatural. With the promising combination of a talented director and an intriguing plot, Earwig is sure to be an exciting movie experience. We look forward to its release in January, 2023.
